Notice of Race for African Course Racing Championships 2013 published

The Notice of Race for the 2013 African Course Racing Championships has been published at http://www.internationalkiteboarding.org/images/documents/events/2013kitecourseracingafricansNoR.pdf

The event will be held from March 24 to 29 in Hurghada, Egypt, and organized by Royal Dream Tours in cooperation with Colona Watersports under supervision of the Egypt Sailing and Rowing Federation, and the IKA.

A total of 20000 EUR in prize money are up for grabs as well as important points for the IKA course racing world ranking to qualify for the 2013 world championships. 

Application for a starting place must be made until 15.02.2013 latest. Applications received after this date are only accepted with IKA approval and subject to a 50 Euro late fee

IMPORTANT NOTE: this is a limited entry event with 115 places for man and 65 places for women freely available, to be distributed as follows:

One starting place for any nations best ranked sailor in the world ranking as of close of registration.

10% of the remaining places reserved for non-continental sailors, strictly by world ranking standing as of close of registration and preferably granted to sailors from paid up member associations

Remaining places reserved for continental sailors, strictly by world ranking standing as of close of registration and preferably granted to sailors from paid up member associations.
Continental citizenship is defined through the ISAF sailor ID.

Places not taken by continental sailors are becoming freely available.

You will be notified about your starting place or if you have been placed on the waiting list immediately after close of registration.

The registration is only completed after confirmation of your starting place and full payment of the entry fee.
