Sroka and Boese still dominating course racing at Sylt

Written by Editor on . Posted in News

Bruno Sroka at SyltAnother day of course racing action in Westerland/Sylt, Germany. Three races in the morning with winds around 12 knots, and three races in the afternoon with slightly higher windspeeds around 15 knots saw Bruno Sroka (FRA, Cabrinha) and Kristin Boese (GER, Best) on top in the end.

It was a hard battle between Sroka, Lago (ESP, RRD) and Farley (MEX, North) for the podium. Those three riders gave the crowds on the beach a really big show, with fotofinish stlye riding, including position changes only at the last few meters. In the end Bruno Sroka was the clear winner with 8 points, ahead of Lago (12 points) and Farley (16 points).

In the womens fleet Kristin Boese had no problems to defeat Ainhoa Garcia (ESP, Airush) with a perfect score, Caroline Adrien (FRA, Naish) in third.
