Sroka and Bridge lead course racing in Portimao
Bruno Sroka (FRA, Cabrinha) and Steph Bridge (GBR, North) have taken the lead in the course racing grand slam in Portimao, Portugal. Three races were completed in light wind conditions around 10-15 knots.
35 riders from all over the world enjoyed the first day of the event in nice and warm conditions.
In the freestyle invitational competition, the first half of the first round robin round has been completed for men and women, so it is too early to announce any results. In a round robin competition, each rider is competing against each other in his group, and the quarterfinals are drawn through this procedure.
Competition continues tomorrow with the skippersmeeting at 13:00 and a fist possible start at 13:30.
