2009 IKA Annual General Meeting - Update

The date of the 2009 IKA AGM is coming closer. The meeting will be held in Paris at the Paris Boat Show, the meeting starts at 10:00 hours in meeting room F8. Francois Cuizinaud from the FFVL will be available at the main entrance of the Paris Boat Show between 09:00 and 10:00 hours to give guidance to the meeting room.

The final agenda can be found below.

All full members are reminded to give a proxy vote in case of non-attendance to ensure that the quorum for the meeting will be met.

Beside the participation delegates from the national kiteboarding associations we also expect several guests from industry, media, kiteboarding schools and related organizations.

Add class rule F.1.2:”LINE LENGTH: The maximum distance measured from the bar to the top of the kite shall not exceed 45 meters”#

*** add to constitution 4. a): “Applications shall include the national associations questionnaire and a supporting letter from either the national sailing association, the national Olympic committee, or the national government/sports ministry (in that order of importance)”

**** add constitution 4 d) NON-VOTING MEMBERTSHIP shall be open to any National Kiteboarding Class Association, or national federations and associations controlling the class activity in their country without payment of subscription fees, and without a vote on the class AGM
