Focus on... the 2010 World Championship Titles
Our next focus is on how the 2010 world champions will be crowned. We already covered the system of the various world rankings, now lets move on to the champions of our sport.
The world champion titles in the expression disciplines (freestyle and wave) are determined through the PKRA tour exclusively. The PKRA will publish their calendar with the freestyle and wave tour events in the next days.
The world champion titles in the tactical disciplines (racing and speed) are determined through one-off-events accompanied by one-off continental championships.
Remember, that the WORLD CHAMPION titles are separate from the WORLD RANKINGS. The world championship titles are determines as outlined above, while for the world rankings all events around the world are counting. We have published a separate Focus on... article about that earlier.
