Written by Editor on . Posted in News

The KTA tour reaches its final destination in Thailand on its five stop tour series that has also taken it from China to Hong Kong, Vietnam and the Philippines. The final event that will also see the crowning of not only the KTA Tour Champions, but also the first ever Asian Champions in both freestyle and course racing, will be taking place at the stunning Paknampran beach in Pranburi, Thailand from the 25 – 28 March.

The final KTA event will be hosted by the tours overall headline sponsor, the Evason Six Senses Spa, at its beautiful beach front location which promises to be an amazing experience for riders and spectators alike.

Final registration takes place on the morning of the 25th March with an anticipated first competition start on the same afternoon. Both freestyle and course racing will be featuring along also hopefully with a request for an ‘Old School’ event. So if time and conditions allow its certainly going to be a feast of action to watch and take part in.

With the strongest pre-registration so far seen on the tour, the KTA is expecting a solid turn out of riders from not only across the Asia region itself, but also from further a field as well. Some 24 different nationalities have taken parting the KTA to date.

Joining the KTA finals, along with its headline sponsor will be representatives of its other tour sponsors Cabrinha, Maelstorm, SueMe, Kite Zone and Ozone, plus its main media partners Action Asia, Kiteworld and Kiteforum. The IKA will also be there to represent the tours sanctioning body and congratulate the first ever asian champions !

So the stage is set, see you in Thailand
