7800 KTA Turkey powered by Audi A1

The KTA Asia tour is taking to the road again for its 2nd season with the first round to take place in the first part of Asia the East meets West country of Turkey.

The 7800 KTA Turkey will be taking place in Cesme from the 22 – 26 September 2010. The tour launches with a with a US 10,000 cash prize purse courtesy of the events co-title sponsors 7800 the resort sponsor and event host, with Audi A1.  Along with a further US 10,000 in equipment from the KTA tour sponsors Cabrinha and Maelstrom.

Freestyle and Course racing will again be the world ranking events under the IKA/ISAF sanction at continental tour level. Under this sanction the KTA will also award the Asian Championship for Asian born riders alongside its own KTA Tour Champions, which is open to all nationalities.

Course racing will this year see two-classes with race board and a twin-tip sub-class, to keep the entry open and competitive to everyone who would like to take on the experience and challenge of this growing aspect of kiteboarding competition.

By popular demand an Old School Big Air series is being planned to run as a continuous cup within the tour and will kick off in Cesme. So for all you hooked in specialists this could be an interesting season for you.
