Written by Editor on . Posted in News

PWAThe Philippines Windsports Association (PWA) is the latest addition to the ever growing family of IKA national members.

The PWA started as the Philippine Windsurfing Association organized for the Philippine windsurfing community before it was amended to become the Philippine Windsport Association representing both windsurfing and kitesurfing among the 7,100 islands of the Philippine archipelago.

The PWA is recognized and is a member of the Philippine Olympic Committee.

Membership is around 200 active windsurfers and kitesurfers.

5 major races are organized each year as well as windsurfing and kitesurfing roadshows around the islands to encourage interest in the sport.
