Freestyle Event Schedule published

Written by Editor on . Posted in News

With the release of the PKRA freestyle events the 2011 world schedule for the discipline of freestyle has been completed. Nine major events define the number of discards, with every riders best 7 results counting for the world ranking.

Another eleven continental tour events of the Kiteboard Tour Asia and the Kite Tour Europe are offering points for the competitors to gain, and several national open events are waiting to be added to the schedule offering even more opportunities to chose from.

All in all it looks like an exciting year for the freestyle discipline, and expectations are high if the 2010 world champions Andy Yates and Gisela Pulido are able to defend their titles.

Have a look here for the current event schedule: http://www.internationalkiteboarding.org/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=eventlist&Itemid=53

The schedules for the remaining disciplines will be published in the next days.
