Racing Schedule updated
The Course Racing schedule has been updated in the events section, now listing a total of 20 events to chose from. Another two events (European Championship in the second half of June and Asian Championship second half of November) will be added as soon as the dates are fixed.
There are currently 8 major events on the calendar, together with the European and Asian Championships the number of major events will raise to 10, with each riders best 7 out of all results counting for the world rankings.
The eventcalendar at http://www.internationalkiteboarding.org/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=eventlist&Itemid=53 is listing not only the events and their confirmation status but also the points to win for the world ranking as well as the pricemoney up for grabs.
The total prize money available on all course racing events in 2011 has grown to more than 160000 US$.
