2011 Slalom / Kitecross World Championship Registration is open

The 2011 Slalom / Kitecross World Championships will be held in Murcia, Spain, from October 12 till October 16. The event format will be Downwind Slalom without Obstacles.

The 2011 Slalom / Kitecross World Championship is part of the Eurosaf High Performance Grand Prix. Mar Menor is a great kiteboarding venue, and racing will take place in nice conditions with prevailing winds from the east averaging 12-15 knots, and temperatures around 20-25 degree celsius.

Registration is now open following this link. The maximum number of competitors is 32 men and 8 women, so hurry up in securing your spot before the event is filled up !

A total of 6000 Euro prizemoney is up for grabs, distributed to the top 8 men and top 4 women.

Competition will be run in multiple elimination rounds on the below course. In addition, some full fleet long distance downwind races may be added.
